Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo won the judge's Dani Pedrosa MotoGP Portugal deserved after overtaking him in the last four laps at Estoril Circuit, Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Start from the second position, Lorenzo had led the way race at Estoril after the first lap. However, the 2010 MotoGP world champion is constantly being followed by the Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa.
Pedrosa did not let Lorenzo breathe freely throughout the race, until finally found momentum in the last four laps. After going through the tracks straight, Pedrosa, Lorenzo overtaking success in Turn 1.
After the race Lorenzo asserted difficult to maintain the position from Pedrosa. The Spanish rider was admitted fatigue when trying to distance themselves from these kompatriotnya.
"As usual I do my best. I tried to widen the distance, but when I pass the straight path, Dani always be behind me. Maybe I was too pressed up to my stamina lost from Dani," Lorenzo said as quoted by Autosport.
