Los Angeles Lakers broke the 16 point advantage in the second round to win the first game NBA playoff semi-finals of the western region after defeated the Dallas Mavericks 96-94 at Staples Center.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson was disappointed with this defeat. He felt the Lakers play better than the Mavericks.
"We feel this has given the game. I do not think Dallas has been toying with us, but players such as giving victory. The game was their win in the third quarter," said Jackson, told the AP.
