Why does the U.S. Not to Show Photos of Osama?

Al-Qaeda leaders Osama bin Laden is believed to have been killed in an ambush by U.S. Special Forces, Navy Seal, on a house in Abottabad, Pakistan. The news of Osama's death was then officially announced by U.S. President Barack Obama.

The Obama administration just showed a photo of Osama's corpse. But, the reporter of The Telegraph, Conrad Quilty-Harper, said the photos it is manipulation that is done by using Photoshop.

Responding to this, a spokesman for the White House, Jay Carney, said the U.S. has a number of considerations to release a photograph of Osama's death.

"The picture was very scary and is incited," Carney said, as quoted by Al Jazeera.

Meanwhile, U.S. Intelligence, the CIA, said it would soon release pictures showing the death of Osama. "The government is still discussing how this show. But, it looks like a photograph will be shown to the public," said CIA Director Leon Panetta, quoted by Al Jazeera.

"Obama does not have strong evidence about the death of Osama bin Laden. Sources close also not yet confirmed the death of Osama bin Laden," said Zabiullah, as quoted by CNN.
