After devouring 82 laps, Rossi recorded the fastest time of 1 minute 37.382 seconds and had to settle for being the fifth fastest in Estoril test, Monday, May 2, 2011. Although the same position achieved by the race at Estoril on Sunday, Rossi claimed to remain satisfied with the results of the test.
"This test is positive, because a number of new devices to function properly. Motor is more sensitive to changes we make in the future. I realize it was so ride motorcycles, and certainly one hour ahead, we are growing," said Rossi as reported by site Ducati's official.
Rossi and Ducati team praised the hard work that continues to strive to improve motor Desmosedici GP11. Six time MotoGP world champion Ducati is sure going to get better at the French Grand Prix, May 15.
The same is expressed satisfaction Nicky Hayden. Although only the ninth fastest with a best time record of 1 minute 37.463 seconds from 89 laps business, Hayden admitted satisfied with Bridgestone tires and a new device.
"I recorded a best time with a tire, 2012, so Bridgestone made great strides. The new device makes a better motor speed despite uneven streets. Motor more smoothly, and overall I am satisfied," said Hayden.
